Several citizens, with photos and videos, have reported to the Regional Councilor of the Sole Che Laugho Francesco Emilio Borrelli the pitiful conditions in which the cemetery of Miano finds itself with tall grass that overhangs the tombs and makes the area inaccessible to visitors and the tomb monuments left to neglect and degradation.
“This is a situation that has been going on for too long, many reports have been made and yet things have remained unchanged. The quarantine period could have been used to carry out maintenance work to restore decorum to the cemetery and instead nothing has been done. Vegetation covers the graves and makes the cemetery inaccessible to citizens who want to visit their deceased loved ones.
It is a totally unacceptable and shameful situation, why has nothing been done? We ask that dignity be restored to the memory of the deceased by intervening to bring the cemetery back to at least acceptable conditions.” – declared Councilor Borrelli. the tall grass covers the graves.
