Casal di Principe. A real concentration camp for fighting dogs, especially pitbulls kept in terrible conditions and without microchips, was discovered by the Police in Casal di Principe.

The owner, a 20-year-old boy, with a criminal record for drugs, carrying and possession of objects capable of causing offence and receiving stolen goods, was reported for the crime of animal cruelty.

The Casapesenna Fixed Post police officers intervened in a house where animal abuse and dog fights had been reported, among other things mated to feed the illegal market. The officers found themselves faced with a dramatic situation, with seven pitbulls tied to chains fixed vertically to the attic of the house, and without any basic care. In particular, on one of the animals, a female of about 4 years of age, numerous scars from previous wounds were found, attributable to fights with other animals. The veterinarians of the Caserta ASL also intervened. One of the seized dogs was entrusted, after registration in the canine registry, to a person deemed suitable while the other dogs were entrusted to a facility
