Mourning in the American music world: pop and country singer Cady Groves died at the age of 30.
IThe body of the singer of the 2012 hit “This Little Girl” was found lifeless by a friend on Saturday evening in her home in Tennessee, police said, adding that no signs of violence were found on the body, thus ruling out, at least for now, either murder or suicide.
She was born on July 30, 1989 in Marlow, Oklahoma. Her brother Cody wrote on social media that her death was due to natural causes.
“The coroner, after the autopsy, explained that there were no signs of homicide or self-harm: Cady simply died of natural causes.”
Cady Groves hadn’t released a record in three years: her last single “Oil and Water” dates back to 2017. Her hit songs also include “Love Actually” and “Forget You”. She had just finished her next album, due out this summer. Cady Groves’ death has once again shocked her family: her brothers Casey and Kelly died in 2007 and 2014, respectively, both at the age of 28.
