A cake to remember that a year ago Noemi arrived at the hospital, at Santobono in Naples, dying, wounded during a shooting in Piazza Nazionale, where she was with her grandmother. In the external spaces of the pediatric hospital, the doctors, nurses and staff who took care of her, in those days, welcomed little Noemi, accompanied by her family.
“We wanted to meet her,” explains Anna Maria Minicucci, general manager of Santobono, “and it was organized on the first available day after the lockdown, with all the necessary precautions.” From the windows, the little patients of the facility unfurled colorful banners to greet Noemi at a distance, to show her closeness. And she, the little girl, as Minicucci says, "was very happy". "Also because she wasn't afraid of the hospital itself - he says - As a pediatric hospital, we always try to create a human dimension and often, as in Noemi's case, strong relationships are created with the family and with the children"
