It will be a different Supplication for the first time in its 137-year history. In fact, next May 8th the Supplication to the Blessed Virgin of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii will take place behind closed doors and without the faithful.
Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Archbishop of Naples, will preside over the solemn rite in the Marian city. The Marian city and the entire world of faithful are thus preparing to recite the Supplication in a different way than usual. The ceremony will be live-streamed on the Sanctuary's Facebook page. Concelebrating the rite, starting at 11 am, will be the Archbishop Prelate of Pompeii, Monsignor Tommaso Caputo.
