SSeven people, believed to be members of the so-called identity card gang, were arrested by the Carabinieri of the Osimo Company in the province of Ancona, in execution of a custodial order in prison and under house arrest by the investigating judge of the Court of Ancona.
The order was executed in the municipalities of Naples, Somma Vesuviana, Brusciano, Sant'Antimo and Cercola. The seven are considered responsible, in competition, for aggravated thefts and some of them also for receiving stolen goods. The investigations conducted by the Carabinieri of Numana and coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office of Ancona have allowed the dismantling of a criminal group from the province of Naples, considered responsible for 22 thefts against municipal offices, commercial establishments and service agencies in the provinces of Ancona, Pesaro Urbino, L'Aquila, Benevento, Arezzo, Bari, Caserta, Salerno and Naples.
