IToday, the Agents of the Sarno Police Station proceeded to report AS, aged 36, a well-known criminal from Sarno, resident there, responsible for the crimes of aggravated theft and improper use of credit and payment cards.
The investigation, which arose from the complaint of a woman living in Sarno, whose ATM card had been stolen, allowed the identification of the individual, who had already withdrawn, on various occasions, the entire available sum, for a total of approximately €7.000.
The investigative activity, which lasted a few weeks, focused on the analysis of the movements of the bank statement, with the dates of withdrawals at ATMs and with the related acquisition of video surveillance images, which allowed the Police officers to trace, also with the help of specific technical processing by the Scientific Police personnel, the perpetrator of the theft, already known to the police. The same was reported to the Judicial Authority.
