“Summer Camp for Minors”: free hospitality service for children aged 3 to 8. Applications now open.
The Municipal Council of Castellabate, on the proposal of the Department of Social Policies with resolution no. 75 of 12/06/2020, has also decided for this year to create a "Summer Center for Minors". It was thus decided to start the service useful to parents who cannot take care of their children due to summer work. The project includes hospitality for children from 3 to 8 years old, every day from 1 July to 31 August, from 8.00 to 13.30, with the exception of Sundays and 15 August. The recreational and educational activities will be carried out at the "Panebianco" gym in Santa Maria and in the adjacent outdoor spaces. The mornings will be spent with games, readings, walks, drawings and manual activities. Interested parties can proceed with registration by filling out the downloadable form online and submitting it, no later than June 26, to the Social Secretariat located in via Roma A Santa Maria, together with the required documentation. The number of registered children cannot exceed 35; in the event of excess, the ranking will be applied based on the income recorded by the valid ISEE certification.
The Councilor for Social Policies, Elisabetta Martuscelli, states regarding the restart of the service: «An initiative strongly desired following the numerous requests received and which intends, especially this year, to re-propose a very useful service to the many working parents, in a particularly delicate moment for families».
