On Wednesday 1 July, Foja returns to the stage to inaugurate the 2020 edition of the Napoli Teatro Festival.
The first post-Covid-19 concert in Naples, in full band, will be that of the Neapolitan group which will inaugurate the new edition of the prestigious Napoli Teatro Festival Italia 2020 scheduled outdoors and in safety.
Miracoli&Rivoluzioni is a new show and will have two souls which, in two acts, will draw from the published and unpublished songbook of Foja, investigating themes linked to the sentimental sphere and existential and social questions, mixing tradition and modernity.
The band will play its energetic folk-rock embellished with architectural lighting, curated by Gianluca Sacco, and moments of aerial performance curated by the artist Viola Russo/FUNA.
An absolute novelty is the live streaming of the show via the platform https://cultura.regione.campania.it/en/web/teatro/live – Digital Ecosystem for Culture of the Campania Region, and on the radio and video channels of CRC [FM 100.500 – Channel 620 Digital Terrestrial] selected to be part of the “Estate all'italiana Festival 2020” schedule: an evocative tour of the main Italian Festivals around the world.
The initiative was born from the partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Italiafestival, in collaboration with the network of Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes around the world, which makes 21 titles from the major Italian festivals available for free, which will be broadcast in live streaming and on demand on the website italiafestival.tv. Among these events, Miracoli&Rivoluzioni by Foja was also selected.
The basic idea is to involve the public of the five continents by making the events available in different time zones and reach an international audience. This will allow to expand the audience, reaching also the spectators who will not be able to reach Campania during the cultural event.

Miracles, like love, go beyond human understanding, they have to do with the supernatural, while Revolutions, internal and not, require human intervention to transform events; they are two terms that today more than ever we need to face the future, two words to hold on to. We start again with a live concert, happy to return to doing our job but aware of the thousand difficulties that the entertainment sector is going through” – declare the Foja -. Tickets for this show are “sold out” and as much as we are happy about it, we realize that it is the result of the restrictions imposed for anti-gathering safety. For this reason we have decided to accept the invitation to broadcast our show in live streaming, and the next day in deferred streaming. A practice that has become customary that will allow our fans to follow us anyway and for us to propose ourselves to a new, and wider, audience. The hope – concludes the band – is that the current conditions can change in a short time allowing us to offer a show for all our fans”.
