After the Uber case in Milan, an attempt is being made to shed light on the real working conditions of young riders
Avellino. Over the weekend, the Carabinieri of the Labour Protection Command and all the provincial Commands of the Arma on the national territory interviewed over a thousand “riders”, operating for the main “virtual platforms” of “food delivery”, in order to acquire useful information for the ongoing investigations, delegated to the specialized unit of the Arma by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Milan, on the management of the employment relationship by the aforementioned “platforms”. The activities of the Carabinieri took place on the road and simultaneously in all the provinces, including that of Irpinia, and made it possible to “photograph”, through the voice of the workers and the real conditions observed on the territory, the methods of carrying out the service and the forms of protection guaranteed to them, both in terms of safety and health.
