Giugliano. He tries to escape the Carabinieri because he is driving a stolen car. 29-year-old in handcuffs. The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile section of Giugliano in Campania have arrested Giuseppe D'Alterio, a 29-year-old local man already known to the police, for resisting a public official, money laundering, and illegal possession and carrying of a cutting weapon.
SCaught by the military while driving along Via Colonne in a car with an evidently counterfeit license plate, D'Alterio became agitated and, before fleeing at breakneck speed, slightly bumped into the patrol. Despite being ordered to stop several times, D'Alterio was stopped after a chase that lasted for several kilometers, at the exit of the Asse Mediano in Grumo Nevano. According to the findings of the Carabinieri, the car that the 29-year-old was driving was the result of a theft committed last May in Qualiano: the chassis number had been punched. The man was also found in possession of a switchblade with a 12 cm blade. Arrested, he is now being held in the holding cells awaiting trial
