Naples, evades house arrest and on a stolen scooter robs a woman: arrested.
Yesterday afternoon, the officers of the Arenella Police Station, during the territorial control service, while passing through via Cupa Gerolomini at the two doors, noticed a person riding a scooter who, at the sight of them, attempted to move away to evade the control.
The police stopped him and found that he had left his home where he is under house arrest and that the moped he was riding had been stolen; the man was also found in possession of a bag containing documents, a cell phone and the sum of 50 euros stolen from a woman who had reported the theft a few hours earlier.
Ferdinando Gatta, a 28-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record for crimes against the person and property, was arrested for evasion, aggravated theft and receiving stolen goods, while the moped was seized.
