Tthirty-two new hires in the Municipality of Pompeii, the pre-selections for public competitions are underway, started yesterday and will continue in the next few days, attracting 4 thousand candidates with high school diplomas and degrees to the city of the Excavations and the Sanctuary.
“It is a remarkable activity, if we consider the historical context of the post Coronavirus – comments the prefectural commissioner of the Municipality of Pompeii, Santi Giuffre' – And it should also be considered that in Pompeii the mayor fell precisely because of the issues relating to the competitions that are now taking place”. The competitions are for full-time and permanent hiring in the Municipality of Pompeii of 5 administrative management instructors category D; 12 supervisory instructors category C; 15 administrative instructors category C. The tests are taking place in the Trapani room, at the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii, and will end on July 2, 2020.
Given the need to ensure compliance with anti-Covid-19 protocols and at the same time the rapid conclusion of the pre-selection phase, up to 4 shifts of access to the tests have been organized daily. The Authority guarantees social distancing, temperature detection and separate entry and exit routes, as well as sanitization of the room before the start of each test. There is also a Red Cross presence.
The pre-selections involved the staff of the Authority, in support of the Commission for the identification operations, distribution of the material and supervision in the tests. All the police forces were also alerted, in addition to the operational collaboration on the field of the Police surveillance staff.
