This morning, at the end of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples North, the financial police of the Frattamaggiore Group executed an order for the application of the precautionary measure of the ban on residence in the municipality of Afragola, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples North, against two people aged 50 and 57, resident respectively in Naples and Afragola, for disturbed freedom of auctions.
The investigations conducted by the financial police of the Frattamaggiore Group have allowed them to outline a serious circumstantial framework against the suspects, a manager of the Municipality of Afragola, member of a commission for the awarding of the tender for the assignment of the multifunctional service for disabled people and a general manager of an association operating in the sector of assistance to the disabled.
In particular, according to the accusatory hypothesis supported by the GIP, the director of the municipality of Afragola, in order to allow the association to be awarded the tender, attributed disproportionate and unjustified scores, in contrast with the other members of the commission who, however, were misled by the director regarding a parameter that was the object of a specific qualitative evaluation. Searches are also underway in reference to alleged illicit activities in the management of the waste collection and transport service for the city of Afragola, which also emerged during the investigation.
