Anonymous vs Tik Tok: ''Users delete it immediately because it is a Chinese malware that spies on you''
This very strong and serious statement comes from the "controllers" of the network, Anonymous, always very careful to warn users about the use of applications and sites that could harm their privacy.
This time their attention is on the social app of the moment, Tik Tok, which has reached impressive volumes of traffic and users when compared to other social networks.
Billions of users from around the world flock to the app every day to watch videos or exchange comments; there's a little bit of everything, from celebrities to cat lovers to creatives and occasional dancers.
In any case, the message Anonymous released on Twitter is very clear:
Delete TikTok now; if you know someone who is using it explain to them it is essentially malware operated by the Chinese government running a massive spying operation. https://t.co/J7N9FS7PvG

" ''Delete TikTok right now. And if you know anyone who uses it, explain to them that it is nothing more than malware in the hands of the Chinese government, engaged in a massive mass surveillance operation." Clearly, it's not easy to know who decided to expose themselves so openly in the hacker community towards the Chinese application, but in fact what is being declared is strong and gives rise to thought."

IOS 14 FOR IPHONE WARN IF AN APP WANTS TO READ YOUR NOTES
And we have Apple to thank in part because it is thanks to some new features in the next iPhone operating system, iOS 14, that an independent developer was able to discover some particular functions used by TikTok: specifically, with the first beta of iOS 14, you are notified whenever installed apps decide to read copied notes. And so the TikTok app turned out to be particularly interested in this data. Users who previewed iOS 14 report that using the app generates repeated notifications.
To respond to Anonymous' accusation against Tik Tok, the ByteDance developers responded by stating that the reason why the application tends to continuously read from the smartphone's memory clipboard It concerns the functioning of an anti-spam system that prevents the repeated pasting of the same strings of text into chats and comments.
Tik Tok immediately decided to remove the feature in question by modifying the app but at this point their "good faith" cannot be taken for granted precisely because the removal of this feature contradicts their declaration on its usefulness: if this function is so important for managing the antispam system, how is it possible that it can be removed in such a short time without causing problems to the app itself?
We will see the developments
