The Carabinieri of the Naples forestry station, as part of one of the services arranged by the Provincial Command of Naples aimed at combating environmental crimes and preventing fires, checked various activities in the area.
I military personnel together with Arpac personnel inspected a company in Arzano in via Sette Re and found several irregularities.
A compacting machine for processing waste was found and seized: the terminal phase lacked a filtering and dust collection system. Also seized were 3 underground tanks filled with fuel oil that came from an old, decommissioned boiler.
The legal representative of the company was also fined for not keeping proper records of loading and unloading of special waste for a total amount of 31 thousand euros.
