Caserta. Arrested pusher with no criminal record and citizen income who had drugs delivered by courier: seized with a kilo of marijuana by the financial police of Marcianise.
NDuring a roadside check, the Guardia di Finanza inspected the van of an express courier who was making his round of deliveries and checked the contents of the packages transported. Inside one of these, approximately 1.050 grams of marijuana were found, destined to be sold at retail on the local market. The financial police then decided to follow the courier and managed to identify the recipient and then proceeded to search his home. The complicity of another young man from Caserta, GZ, 21, with a criminal record for drugs, was also ascertained. At the latter's home, the police found approximately 1.600 euros in cash, all in small denomination banknotes, the proceeds of drug dealing. The recipient of the drugs was arrested and, by order of the judicial authority of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, taken to house arrest pending validation of the measure. The second young man was also reported for the crime of possession of substances possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing. Further investigations also revealed that the family unit of GDV, the recipient of the shipment, received over 3 thousand euros in public contributions in the form of citizen income in the last year. Therefore, the communication was made to INPS for the purpose of forfeiture of the benefit.
