In total, more than 350 people participated in this event.
The groom, an engineer from Gurgaon, was already in poor health considering he had driven nearly 1.100 kilometres to the wedding.
His condition then became more complicated during the marriage.
Taken to the hospital in Patna, he was treated for diarrhea – which, we recall, is a symptom of Covid-19 – but it seems that his family forced him to take medicine to continue with the rituals and celebrations.
All those present have been traced by the Indian authorities, as also cited by BBC, and isolated everyone present last week and also launched an investigation into the excessive number of attendees at the wedding.
In fact, it had been a big party, perhaps too big because in India gatherings of more than 50 people are not allowed for a wedding due to the Coronavirus.
