The number of new cases of Covid-19 in Italy is growing. There are in fact 201 (there were 187 yesterday), of which just under half (98) in Lombardy alone.
E' as emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. In total, the cases registered since the beginning of the epidemic have therefore reached 240.961. The number of deaths is 30 - an increase of nine compared to yesterday - with the total number of victims increasingly approaching 35 thousand (34.818). There are still many recoveries (366), even if they are down by a hundred compared to yesterday (469), for a total of 191.083. The number of positive cases has dropped by 195 units, which still remain at 15.060.
The number of hospitalizations also dropped (-62), settling at 963, for the first time under a thousand since the first days of the epidemic. There are fewer and fewer people in intensive care (82), five less than yesterday. People in home isolation are 14.015.
The 30 coronavirus victims recorded in the last 24 hours involved patients from only 4 regions: Lombardy (21), Piedmont (5), Tuscany (3) and Emilia-Romagna (1). All other regions of Italy, including the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano, have not recorded any deaths. A total of 53.243 swabs were performed in the last 24 hours, about two thousand fewer than yesterday.
