Questa mattina si è sfiorata una nuova tragedia al carcere di Arienzo. Un detenuto ha tentato di impiccarsi utilizzando le lenzuola in dotazione e solo il pronto intervento di un ispettore di polizia penitenziaria ha evitato che l’uomo perdesse la vita.
“It is paradoxical and incomprehensible that today neither the director nor the commander nor the vice-commander were present in the prison facility – declares Franco Falzarano, provincial coordinator of the FP-CGIL for the penitentiary police – This highlights serious organizational defects that are already unacceptable in themselves, even more unacceptable at a time when the level of attention in penitentiary institutions has been raised”.
