In Maddaloni on the SP 335, the Carabinieri of the local station, at the conclusion of an immediate investigation, arrested a 49-year-old from Caivano believed to be responsible for extortion against a 49-year-old Albanian woman and a 32-year-old Bulgarian woman.
On multiple occasions, the man, using threats, including with a weapon, forced the two women to leave their "workplace," where they routinely performed prostitution for a 43-year-old Albanian woman. The Carabinieri also charged the man with aiding and abetting prostitution, having been caught, during a surveillance operation, pocketing €180, which the 43-year-old woman had given him, representing the earnings she had earned from the services she provided. The arrested man was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
