Caserta. New positives for Covid-19 in Mondragone: the virus does not retreat. The mayor of Falciano del Massico, in the province of Caserta, announces that among the residents there are 5 more positive people. A farm where there are 27 infected people has been closed.
IThe data communicated by the ASL of Caserta, in the bulletin updated at 12 today, report that there are 66 total infected people in Mondragone, 4 more than yesterday, 4 positives in Falciano del Massico even if the mayor Erasmo Fava communicated the positivity of 5 citizens, 3 positives in Sessa Aurunca, 1 respectively in Carinola and Recale.
Therefore, the cases of Covid-75 attributable to the outbreak at the Palazzi Cirio in Mondragone, where there have been 19 infections, have risen to 43.
In the neighboring municipalities, as part of the mass screening ordered by the Campania Region and the ASL of Caserta, another 32 cases have emerged, of which 27 work in the Sviluppo Agricolo Bianchino agricultural company in Falciano del Massico whose activities have been blocked to avoid the further spread of the infection with an ordinance signed yesterday by the mayor Erasmo Fava in which it is stated that the suspension of the activity is "with immediate effect until the removal of the reasons for current and concrete danger to public health, connected to the health emergency localized in the territory".
The mayor also signed another ordinance to contain the contagion which provides for the closure of the weekly market – scheduled every Wednesday – until a date to be determined.
