Jorit’s mural for Pino Daniele, Palazzo Alto is not subject to constraints. Borrelli and Simioli: “It seems the mural will be done, we are enthusiastic. Paying homage to Pino is an obligation”.
The Superintendency's refusal to allow the mural dedicated to Pino Daniele, by the artist Jorit, on the facade of the Palazzo Alto delle Ferrovie dello Stato in Piazza Garibaldi had caused surprise, but apparently the gigantic face of the most beloved Neapolitan singer-songwriter will be done.
The announcement was made by the Ferrovie dello Stato, which clarified that a 2006 TAR ruling, confirmed in 2007, frees the building from any restrictive measures. Furthermore, the work was strongly desired by the citizens of the Vasto committee.
"It seems that Jorit's work dedicated to the great Pino will be done, as agreed between the artist himself and the companies FS Sistemi Urbani and Grandi Stazioni Immobiliare, and we are happy about this. Pino Daniele was and is one of the greatest Neapolitan characters, Pino is Naples and it is right to pay homage to him, always and in any case. We can say that justice has been done" - were the words of the regional councilor of the sun that laughs Francesco Emilio Borrelli and the radio host Gianni Simioli.
