Yesterday afternoon, officers from the San Carlo Arena Police Station, during a service to combat drug dealing, carried out a check in Vico Paradiso alla Salute at the home of a man who was found in possession of 10 sticks of hashish weighing a total of approximately 9 grams, a scale, various materials for packaging drugs and 2 micro-cameras connected to a video surveillance system that framed the external perimeter of the building.
Pasquale Vastarelli, a 58-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, was arrested for possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
On the same evening, the police also found in a building on Via Vincenzo De Monte, hidden behind the stairs of the condominium entrance hall, a bag containing 38 cartridges of various calibers.
