Rolex robbers caught: the Pescara Mobile Squad arrested two Neapolitans aged 42 and 45, believed to be responsible for two robberies that took place at the end of 2019 in the Adriatic capital to the detriment of an accountant and an entrepreneur.

I dettagli dell’operazione sono stati illustrati in conferenza stampa dal dirigente della Mobile, Dante Cosentino, dal suo vice, Mauro Sablone, dalla responsabile della sezione Antirapina, Cinzia Di Cintio, e dal viceispettore Giuseppe Ciufici. Due gli episodi ricostruiti, avvenuti tra ottobre e novembre scorsi a Pescara. In entrambi i casi alle vittime, rimaste ferite, sono stati strappati i Rolex dal polso. I due malviventi, a bordo di uno scooter scuro, con il volto coperto dal casco, avevano seguito le vittime e, dopo averle avvicinate, le avevano rapinate. Grazie alle immagini di videosorveglianza, gli investigatori hanno individuato lo scooter utilizzato dai due pregiudicati e successivamente sono risaliti al 42enne.
The man was already under house arrest, where he was following an attempted robbery at a post office in Francavilla al Mare (Chieti) on November 5. It was precisely from the investigations and searches following that arrest that useful elements emerged to identify those responsible for the robberies. The 45-year-old was instead in Naples, where he was arrested with the support of the local Flying Squad. The two ended up in prison in execution of the relative order issued by the investigating judge Antonella Di Carlo, at the request of the prosecutor Fabiana Rapino.
