Yesterday morning, the agents of the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, with the support of the crews of the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, the Mobile Unit and the Canine Unit of the General Prevention Office, carried out an extraordinary service of territorial control in the Porta Capuana area where the presence of people dedicated to prostitution had been reported.
ùChecks were carried out at some shops in Piazza Enrico De Nicola and in Vicoletto II Santa Maria a Cancello where eight Nigerian women, a Chinese woman and a Georgian woman aged between 22 and 60 were found.
Three women were reported for illegal entry and residence in the State territory because they were irregular in the national territory and a fourth for failure to show an identification document.
Furthermore, the owner of an apartment on Via Santa Maria a Cancello was reported for aiding illegal immigration because a foreign woman without a residence permit was found inside his home.
The intervention is also the result of careful listening to the territory, which has allowed us to better understand its problems.
