I soldiers from the local company together with those from the Campania Regiment and the Motorcyclists of the Naples Radiomobile Nucleus combed the streets of the Barra and Ponticelli neighborhoods to combat widespread lawlessness.
Many soldiers were deployed in every corner of the neighborhoods and the results were significant: 2 arrests and 4 people reported. 140 vehicles checked and 240 people were identified, 70 of which are already known to the police.
The Carabinieri of the Naples Poggioreale station have arrested - pursuant to two orders issued by the Court of Naples - a 35-year-old from via Stadera and a 31-year-old from via Miccoli. The first will have to serve 2 years of house arrest because he is guilty of having committed several aggravated thefts. The 31-year-old was the recipient of a order issued by the judicial authority for crimes relating to the protection of work committed in Bologna and will have to serve another 2 months of house arrest: we will talk about it again at the end of the summer.
Particular attention on Ponticelli by the local Station with the help of motorcyclists in the context of "road education": 28 traffic violations issued for a total amount of 41 thousand euros.
9 cars were without the required insurance coverage, 3 people were caught while driving their scooter without wearing a protective helmet, 9 drivers were driving a vehicle already subject to administrative seizure and 5 were driving without ever having obtained a license. 2 local citizens were instead reported because they were found driving without ever having obtained a license but with a repeat offense in the two-year period.
