Torre del Greco, illegal parking attendant sends a traffic policeman to the hospital to avoid checks. Borrelli. “Solidarity with the injured officer. We are talking about violent and aggressive criminals, often in the pay of the Camorra. We need severe penalties and a reform of the rules. For this specific case we ask for a very harsh penalty that will serve as a warning to others”.
DOn July 12st, around XNUMXpm, a Local Police assistant was attacked by an illegal parking attendant in the market area of via Circumvallazione in Torre del Greco.
The officer, who was carrying out a targeted check with colleagues to stop illegal parking, was punched in the nose by the illegal parking attendant in an attempt to identify and fine him. The officer was taken to the hospital, with a nasal fracture that will heal in 25 days.
The attacker, who had fled, was reached by another patrol of the Local Police, alerted by his colleagues. The man, 38 years old, was placed under house arrest awaiting trial with a direct trial.
"We express our full solidarity with the injured municipal policeman, this shows how much some members of the police force are trying to restore legality in our territory, putting their own safety at risk. After this episode, will there still be anyone who will have the courage to define illegal parking attendants as poor fathers who try to bring home the bread? The truth is that for the most part they are criminals, violent and aggressive, who throw our territory into chaos and illegality, often they are laborers of the Camorra, the facts say so. For this reason we ask for severe penalties and a reform of the rules, for many of them prison is needed. We hope that this criminal who violently punched the traffic policeman can serve a harsh sentence, which will serve as an example and a warning for others. Good people have decided: get rid of illegal parking attendants from our land, we want a return to legality.” - were the words of the Regional Councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
