UAnother fire hits the Campania region. During the day of July 2nd a fire destroys a tire warehouse in via Consolare Campana in Villaricca, the flames also engulfed the surrounding homes. Some families were evacuated. "Fortunately there have been no victims or injuries but it is yet another fire that is hitting our territory. The origins of the fire are not yet clear but it is still a phenomenon that is devastating our land, both economically and from an environmental point of view. We ask for an effort from the investigators to clarify the dynamics of this fire and in general we ask for more checks and patrols of the roads. We have asked Arpac to monitor the conditions of the area affected by the fire to verify what damage has been caused." - were the words of the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli |
