Yesterday morning, officers from the General Prevention Office, during their territorial control service, passing through via Chiaia noticed a display trolley set up with various mobile phone accessories that had been left in the middle of the road.
Shortly after, the police were approached by a street vendor who claimed to be the owner; following the checks carried out, the goods on display, 2070 covers and 188 films for mobile phones, of which the man was unable to indicate the origin, were found to be devoid of any identification code and, for this reason, were seized.
The man, a 45-year-old from Bangladesh, was fined because he did not have the authorization to sell this type of item and because the goods were found not to comply with European regulations.
