'I will love you beyond the clouds', is part of the moving message from Ciro to Maria Paola that appears on a sign accompanied by some photos that appears on the church in the Verde park in Caivano where the funeral of the girl who died while being chased by her brother who did not accept her relationship with Ciro, a trans boy, is taking place.

And it is precisely this latter who is the author of the phrase reported on the sign posted by two girls, who immediately left. “We were only running towards our freedom – the sign reads – or at least we thought we were. Towards our small but great happiness. Wherever you are, my heart will be there with you. I will love you beyond the clouds. From your great love Ciro”. Four photos were also glued to the sign, selfies of Ciro and Maria Paola, and a heart was drawn with the words “Ciro and Paola forever” inside.

Michele Gaglione's name is also among those of the relatives who, on the funeral notice posted at the entrance of the church of San Paolo Apostolo in the Parco Verde of Caivano, announce the death of Maria Paola, the girl who died during the night between Friday and Saturday after falling from the scooter on which she was traveling with her partner Ciro Migliore, a trans boy. The one chasing them was Maria Paola's brother, Michele, arrested on charges of unintentional homicide.

Ciro was able to see his beloved for the last time. He paid homage to the young woman's body, before the coffin arrived in Caivano, where the funeral will take place. Ciro obtained permission from the Prosecutor's Office and was escorted by the police.

“We met when we were 15, a year later we got engaged – he says during the interview with Tv8 – we looked at each other from the balcony of the house. It was my first and greatest love. And I will never forget it. Our dream was to have a house together”. As to why this love was so opposed, Ciro has no doubts: “They don’t understand what love is. According to them we were two women without a future ahead of us. That’s why they didn’t want us to love each other. Paola, on the other hand, fell in love with me for who I am. At first we saw each other secretly, her family didn’t accept me. To those who find themselves in similar situations, I say to always fight for your life and for your love”.
