This is the modus operandi of two "elderly" Neapolitan thieves, aged 74 and 68, placed under house arrest for two thefts committed in Santa Maria Capua Vetere and Maddaloni, in the Caserta province, between November and December of last year. According to findings by the State Police (Police Stations of the two cities), whose officers executed the precautionary measures issued by the investigating judge of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere court, the two allegedly used the same method each time, puncturing the tire of the targeted car. On one occasion, they managed to steal the purse from the car, stealing a credit card, and using it to withdraw over €2 from the victim's account.
