From theatre to music, the tribute to Naples in the new single by the Neapolitan duo composed of actors Fabio Canciello and Giovanni Chiacchio, with the participation of Andrea Radice
Partenope wealth and damnation. This is what Senza Regole sing with Andrea Radice in Partenope, the new song by the Neapolitan duo, an act of love and proud belonging to the city of Naples, which inspires them not only as a theatrical couple but also as a new musical duo. Partenope is the debut single by Senza Regole, the duo composed of actors Fabio Canciello and Giovanni Chiacchio, who have combined their theatrical activity with musical activity in a sort of flow of mutual inspiration. Together with them the extraordinary voice of Andrea Radice, one of the protagonists of the eleventh edition of X Factor.

The new single is distributed on all digital stores. A video clip has also been made, available on Youtube, directed by Chiacchio himself, performed by him and Canciello together with Teresa Barra. “Partenope is a single written and conceived in Neapolitan. With the participation of Andrea Radìce in the lyrics and with his voice, the unreleased song talks about a love that exists but can never be fulfilled. We have all felt the love in question, for a person, for a place, for Naples or for Partenope itself… We could talk about the plot of this song, the video clip, the meaning, but in reality a true meaning cannot be given to it, each listener gives it their own. “Poetry does not belong to the one who writes it, it belongs to the one who serves it”, said Massimo Troisi in Il Postino”.
Massimo Troisi is one of the great inspirers of Senza Regole, aka Fabio Canciello and Giovanni Chiacchio, respectively 18 and 22 years old: a very young duo that taking the best from the history of Neapolitan theater and cinema, combines the stage with a new musical experience. “Our being Neapolitan has a huge impact on what we do. Having so many illustrious masters, such as Totò, Troisi, the De Filippo family, Edoardo but also Peppino, could not fail to inspire us. Our Neapolitanity is an extra “something” that is part of our DNA. Totò was the last mask of the commedia dell'arte, an extraordinary actor, a humorous comedian who from a life marked and imbued with dark moments and many “bad moments”, managed to create a smile. Troisi was a revolutionary of cinema and theater, he brought something new in a very personal and original way.”
Senza Regole were born as a duo in various theater workshops including the Art Garage Teatro Sala Molière in Pozzuoli, with Nando Paone and Cetty Sommella. They have staged their own shows such as Si fa o non si fa?, they produced, directed and wrote the short film about the land of fires entitled 77. They created and produced the closed-door theater show Simme strane, è teatro. They worked on a show at the Palapartenope-Casa della Musica entitled Ma e che stamme parlanne?, with guests Peppe Iodice and Andrea Radice, also a guest in Partenope.
