English: After the meeting on August 05, 2020 at the administrative offices of the company Falco SpA, a wholesale supplier of household appliances, belonging to the Trony group, where the same company committed to pay with the signature of their Labor Consultant, renowned throughout the Neapolitan territory, as its representative, for some of the wage shortfalls not recognized to workers, such as: travel and holiday allowances; after more than a month and at the conclusion of the agreement, everything fell through last night, since the same company with a sort of blackmail, asked that the workers sign in conciliation a nothing to claim for their entire working life, otherwise, it would not have paid them the agreed and calculated past and nor put them under contractual protection recognizing their rights for the future, nothing to do with what, both we as a Trade Union Organization and the workers themselves, have claimed.
It's been 9 months of harassment and the usual anomalies in payments on pay slips, where, as a consolidated practice, many companies in the area always apply the blackmail formula to employees: "if you're okay with it, take this or you can go!".
But there is more to say, during the negotiations and to meet the company financially, the workers were also willing to reduce what was counted in the past and accepted conciliation at the union level, but nothing was of use, despite the fact that CUB Trasporti itself aimed to regularize both the workers to protect them contractually and the employer itself, in fact, as stated in the letter sent to the company - "it is noted that compliance with the reference CCNL present in the employees' pay slips is a protection for both the worker and the employer, therefore, working and being paid as established by the CCNL is a right".
Unfortunately, many bosses expect workers to work 14 hours a day, but they still pay them 8, because paying overtime or a holiday for these gentlemen is an extra, a pleasure and if you raise your head, there is always the little formula…
Improving the quality of life of workers within the workplace is essential, in fact, from now on, all actions permitted by the laws in force will be implemented to protect these workers, who only ask to be respected and paid for their work, for their rights.
