Andrea Rana returns with “Da un angolo all'altro”, his powerful musical message that invites you to fall in love with life every day
E' available on all digital platforms and will be on radio rotation – in a version completely rearranged by APBeat – from Thursday 8 October, “Da un angolo all'altro”, the new single by Andrea Rana, taken from the EP “Mondi e Isole”.
The song, co-written with the Tuscan poet and writer Luca Viviani, was born from the friendship, created online, that binds the two artists.
""Da un angolo all'altro" - Viviani declares - was born from a friendship, albeit virtual, with Andrea. It is a song about time that passes and leaves traces, even heavy ones, like footprints on the beach. But for every day, for every year, for every stop, a new departure is ready to put us back in the race in that continuous flow of play and emotion that is life".
«One day you will find your life ahead of you,
heavy legs and breath in the depths of the heart:
that day you will understand that summer has passed
and you will have another love that will not follow you.
(...)
It is time that advances from one corner to another of an age,
there is no departure if there is no conflict of souls."
“Da un angolo all'altro”, with its pop sounds, invites us to “have a little patience, because dawn becomes music”, to never stop chasing our dreams, to live life as the wonderful gift that it is, to find the strength to start again even after long moments of stagnation and difficulty, because “One day you will meet your sea and a book of air to start again”.
The song is accompanied by the official lyric video – available from Friday 09 October – created by the talented Pakistani graphic artist Reesha Muhammad.
In a difficult period like the one the whole world is going through, “Da un angolo all'altro” comes as a breath of hope, a musical hymn to always believe in the positive side of our daily lives, entering the mind and heart of the listener from the first notes and transporting them into the positive mood of the artist, who manages to immediately give a feeling of serenity.

Andrea Rana was born in Lodi on July 14, 1976. He began writing poetry at a very young age and, more recently, fairy tales and stories. Always passionate about music, in 1996 he created the Erie project, a group that split up two years later, but which reached its peak in 1997 with the publication of the original song “Dea”, included in a compilation created and produced by the Province of Lodi. In 2000, Andrea began his solo career, recording several songs and EPs, exclusively and entirely self-produced. Parallel to the solo project, from 2000 to 2003, he became the frontman of the cover band Almida. After years of almost total inactivity, between 2009 and 2010 he wrote and recorded the songs “Ancora tutto da rifare” and “Poco chiara”, distributed online by the Primula Records label. From that moment, he resumed his activity of writing and publishing singles, alongside the participation in various Competitions and Awards, in which he always ranked on the podium, also winning the first edition of "Talent Factory" with the song "Un'altra vita". After new releases, in November 2019 the EP "Mondi e Isole" was released, consisting of 7 unreleased songs and full of collaborations. Three songs were extracted from the album: "Passarai anche tu" (accompanied by the official video clip, which features the young and talented actress Alessandra de Luca), the title track "Mondi e Isole" (always accompanied by the video clip, made with footage given for free by a director from St. Petersburg, "CottonBro") and the new "Da un angolo all'altro", totally rearranged compared to the original version contained in the EP and accompanied by the lyric video made by Reesha Muhammad, a video graphic artist who lives in Pakistan.
