Capaccio Paestum, excessive gatherings: famous wine bar closed for 4 days.
Eexcessive gatherings and failure to observe the minimum safety distance between customers: a well-known wine bar in the archaeological area of Paestum has been closed. As part of targeted checks on the municipal territory to monitor compliance with the anti-Covid-19 restrictions and recent regional ordinances, the Carabinieri of the Nas of Salerno, together with their colleagues from the Capaccio Scalo Station, led by Marshal Giuseppe D'Agostino, took a hard line in the evening against the owners of the wine bar, ordering the closure of the business for 4 days and a fine of 400 euros.
The military found excessive gatherings inside and outside the premises, as well as superficial checks regarding the prevention of Coronavirus risks. The measure was reported to the Prefecture of Salerno. This is the second time that the activity in question has been suspended for the same reason: on March 8, the Municipal Police officers, led by Major Natale Carotenuto, were responsible for closing the premises, and they found a violation of art. 2, paragraph 1, letter e) of the then current decree of the President of the Council of Ministers.
