Extraordinary service of the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples for the Control of the territory between the municipalities of Casoria and Cardito. The military of the Casoria company, together with those of the Neapolitan NAS and the Campania Regiment have identified over 190 people - many of these already known to the ffoo - and checked 59 vehicles.
NThere is no shortage of traffic violations: 31 were reported for various violations such as lack of insurance coverage, driving without a helmet and without the required MOT.
A 19-year-old from Casoria was reported for being found in possession of two blank guns without red caps: a Bruni cal. 8 and an Olimpic cal. 38, without cartridges. He was walking down the street and when he realized the presence of a patrol he tried to get rid of them, throwing them into a flowerbed.
Same fate for a 21-year-old already known to the police, also from Casoria. During a search he was found in possession of 10 doses of marijuana, ready for sale. He will have to answer for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
There were also intense checks to ensure compliance with the anti-covid regulations: a sandwich shop was fined because it did not display information signs to contain the pandemic. A sandwich shop was temporarily closed because social distancing was not respected inside and because it remained open beyond the permitted hours. For this last violation, a pub was also suspended, caught operating beyond the hours established by the anti-contagion regulation. One person was fined for not wearing a mask.
The checks will continue in the next few days.
