#ConfiniAperti 2020/2021 – Leave room for emotion! Six shows from October 17, 2020 to January 6, 2021

The Babilonia Teatri company will open the 17/18 season of the Teatro Area Nord on October 2020 and 2021 with the show Padre Nostro. A symbolic season, which, despite the restrictions, tries to resist and reiterate the need for the Theater as an "emotional space" that we must not and cannot give up. 6 events are scheduled from October 17, 2020 to January 6, 2021.
We start again from the shows that were skipped due to the lockdown last season: “Padre Nostro”, which debuted in 2019 at the B.Motion Festival in Bassano del Grappa, returns to the stage for the first time after the forced break. A work on the figure of the father and the relationship between generations written and directed by Enrico Castellani and Valeria Raimondi with Maurizio, Olga and Zeno Bercini. Following, on 24 and 25 October, a work directed by Lello Serao based on Bulgakof's work “Romanzo Teatrale” entitled “Neve Nera”, with the adaptation by Mario Brancaccio, set in Moscow in the thirties full of impulses and rich in characters who represent the literary and theatrical history of those years, from Tolstoy to Stanislawky. On stage Mario Brancaccio, Simona Esposito, Pietro Juliano, Yulya Mayarchuk, Gennaro Monti. On October 31st and November 1st, #confiniaperti 20/21 will host the Campania debut of Livore – Mozart e Salieri, a new work by the VicoQuartoMazzini company, written by playwright Francesco D'Amore, who also stars with Michele Altamura and Gabriele Paolocà who are directing it. The show was created at TAN as part of the activities of the C.RE.A.RE. CAMPANIA residence center.
November 7th is the only date of Scampoli – from Robert Mitchum to Andrea Camilleri by and with Massimiliano Civica, produced by the Metastasio theatre in Prato: Civica will tell anecdotes, thoughts and episodes from the lives of some of the protagonists of the world of theatre and cinema. Robert Mitchum, Roberto Rossellini, Jerry Lewis, Emanuele Luzzati, Andrea Camilleri. Through the lives of these and other men of entertainment we will try to trace the portrait of our ideal artists, models who are perhaps unattainable but for this very reason “exemplary”.
On November 15 and 16, after the debut at the Primavera dei Teatri festival, it will be the turn of Peggy Pickit – guarda il volto di Dio by the German playwright Roland Schimmelpfennig directed by Marcello Cotugno with Valentina Acca, Valentina Curatoli, Aldo Ottobrino, Emanuele Valenti produced by Teatri Associati di Napoli with the support of the Goethe Institut Napoli.
To conclude this first part of the season, from December 22, 2020 to January 6, 2021, the show-event Natale in Casa Cupiello, a monologue “cum figuris” performed by the actor Luca Saccoia who will interact on stage with the creatures designed and created by the set designer Tiziano Fario with the direction of Lello Serao.
A complex project born from an idea by Vincenzo Ambrosino and Luca Saccoia and produced by Teatri Associati di Napoli/Interno 5 with the support of the Eduardo De Filippo Foundation in view of the 90th anniversary of the debut of Eduardo's work. The project also includes the active participation of the community of residents of the Piscinola district. The activities of the C.RE.A.RE. CAMPANIA Residence Center continue with the contemporary circus project Violet by the Colletivo Errante group and Cabaret Colette, a project by Valentina Curatoli and Arianna D'Angiò with Valentina Curatoli. The music is by Fabrizio Elvetico and the videos by Loredana Antonelli. The Circo Corsaro course directed by Maria Teresa Cerasoni and the Theater course for children aged 9 to 16, directed by Niko Mucci, resume. The collateral events promoted by local associations will also start again: On October 29th, the TAN will host one of the evenings of the VI Edition of the Fausto Rossano Award.
The events will take place in full compliance with current health regulations. Reservations are mandatory, seats are numbered and spaced. Shuttle service is active.
