Checks in Torre Annunziata: 5 fined without masks.
On Friday afternoon, officers from the Torre Annunziata Police Station, the Torre Annunziata Group of Finance Police and personnel from the Local Police, with the support of the crews from the Campania Crime Prevention Unit and the Naples Mobile Unit, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service.
During the activity, 70 people were identified, 34 of whom had a police record, and 5 of them were fined for not wearing a mask.
The police, during checks at 14 betting shops, found that the owner of a commercial establishment in Via Roma, registered as an “Internet point”, was actually carrying out and organising the collection of sports bets without having the required licence.
The man, a 25-year-old from Oplonti with a criminal record, was reported for illegally carrying out gambling or betting activities.
