Coronavirus in Caserta, new boom in infections: 131 new positives and two deaths. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2.500 residents in the Caserta area have contracted the infection.
The number of people currently positive for Coronavirus in the Caserta area has reached and largely exceeded one thousand; 131 new positives compared to yesterday, equal to over ten percent of the swabs processed (1.245). In 48 hours, almost 250 new infections have been recorded. The daily report of the Caserta ASL also reports two deaths: an 85-year-old resident in the municipality of Castel Volturno and a 59-year-old from Mondragone, for a total of 54 deaths since March.
