Coronavirus infections continue to rise in Italy. In the last 24 hours, positive cases have increased by 5.724 (yesterday they were 5,372), with 29 deaths (yesterday 28).
This is what we learn from the data of the Ministry of Health. In the last 24 hours, 133.084 swabs were performed, for a total of 12.460.055 since the beginning of the emergency. This is what we read in today's bulletin of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection. The total number of discharged/recovered is 238.525, while the current positive cases are 74.829. To date, there are 4.336 hospitalized with symptoms, of which 390 are in intensive care, while 70.103 people are in home isolation. There are 976 recovered/discharged in the last 24 hours, bringing the total since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic to 238.525. The region where the highest number of new cases was recorded in the last 24 hours is Lombardy (1.140), followed by Campania (664), Veneto (561), Tuscany (548), Piedmont (499) and Lazio (384).
