Coronavirus, contagion begins to decrease in Campania: today 664 new cases. 9.031 swabs were analyzed.
The total number of Coronavirus cases in Campania since the beginning of the emergency is 17.897, while 673.472 swabs have been examined in total. The Campania Region Crisis Unit announces that 2 deaths related to Coronavirus have been recorded, with the total number of deaths in Campania since the beginning of the emergency thus rising to 477. There are 68 new recoveries: the total number of recoveries is 7.229.
The total number of positive cases is 17.897; the total number of swabs is 673.472. Today's recoveries are 68. The report on beds on a regional basis indicates 110 available intensive care beds, 63 occupied intensive care beds. The available hospital beds are 820 while the occupied hospital beds are 636.
The Crisis Unit reminds that the data provided by the Local Health Authorities must be processed, since from the total number of positive swabs, the tests of people who were already positive and who performed swabs to verify whether or not they had recovered must be subtracted. The data of positives for the day is therefore entirely made up of people who tested positive for the first time.
