Coronavirus, fear of contagion from Monte di Procida: the mayor of Bacoli closes the schools.
The mayor of Bacoli, Josi Gerardo Della Ragione, has issued an order to close all schools in the area, of all levels, starting tomorrow, Monday. A decision taken due to what “is happening in nearby Monte di Procida, which is causing great concern to the entire population of Bacoli”. The communities of the two municipalities are closely linked and share numerous services and activities.

"Therefore - says Della Ragione -, until the results of the new official swabs carried out this morning, in an extraordinary manner by the ASL Napoli2 Nord, at the Montese town hall, I have decided that schools of all levels in Bacoli will remain closed. A precautionary measure that I am adopting to allow our people, and in particular mothers and fathers, to await with greater serenity the results of the screening of these last hours and the next few days". Meanwhile, a fourth student from the Liceo 'Anneo Seneca' has tested positive for coronavirus.
He is a student who attends the Fusaro branch. The class is in home isolation as are the two teachers who have had contact with the students so far.
