The State Police arrested the Nigerian citizen Nze Celestine, 32 years old, of no fixed abode in Italy, without a residence permit, responsible for the possession with intent to deal in narcotic substances, such as cocaine and heroin.
NOn the evening of October 8, State Police personnel from the Castel Volturno Police Station arrested the aforementioned Nigerian citizen at the end of a police operation aimed at combating drug dealing in the vicinity of the so-called “Palazzi Grimaldi”.
During an observation operation, the police officers noticed two individuals, a man and a woman, and intuited that the subject of their conversation could be the purchase of narcotics.
The officers intervened immediately after the drug dealer had given the woman the drug and, despite his attempt to escape, they managed to block the man who, in an attempt to gain his escape, began to punch and kick the officers, while the woman quickly fled into the surrounding countryside, taking advantage of the situation and the darkness and disappearing without a trace.
Once stopped, the man was searched and 760,00 euros in 50/20/10/5 banknotes and numerous heat-sealed transparent cellophane packages containing heroin and cocaine for a total gross weight of approximately 90 grams were found in his trouser pockets.
After completing the formal procedures, the arrested man was taken to the S. Maria CV prison at the disposal of the investigating magistrate.
