Lawyers, witnesses and parties with the admitted public pass through the same entrance. This system has brought the Torre Annunziata courthouse to a standstill, creating long queues, crowds and moments of tension.
Cso the protest started, and the president of theTorre Annunziata Bar Association, Luisa Liguoro wrote to the head of the court, Ernesto Aghina, and to the chief prosecutor, Nunzio Fragliasso: "Today more than dangerous gatherings were created". To this we must add, according to what is written in the letter, "that the minutes of the criminal hearings did not arrive promptly and at 9 it was not known which colleagues could access because they had a hearing".

“In the spirit of collaboration that has always distinguished all of us in this emergency phase and that must continue until we emerge from this phase of danger, I ask you to evaluate whether it would be possible, at least for the next month, to allow lawyers to access from the entrance that is currently used only by magistrates and registry staff in order to decongest the queues and avoid gatherings,” concludes Liguoro.
