Frattaminore: Carabinieri arrest violent son. The elderly parents had been subjected to violence for a long time.
I Carabinieri of Grumo Nevano arrested a 40-year-old from Frattaminore, already known to the police, who yesterday had – for the umpteenth time – beaten and threatened his elderly cohabiting parents from whom he demanded money to purchase narcotics.
Only the intervention of the military who immediately blocked the man prevented the situation from degenerating, also because it was ascertained that the violence and threats had by now become daily and no longer sustainable by the couple.
The unfortunate victims had to seek medical care at the Frattamaggiore hospital, suffering bruises that were deemed curable in 6 and 10 days respectively. The arrested person was taken to the Poggioreale prison.
