LThe “Luci d'artista” event in SALERNO will be held “albeit on a smaller scale due to Covid-19”.
The mayor of SALERNO, Vincenzo Napoli, announced it. “The Luci d'Artista will take place, as already said on other occasions, in a manner compatible with the delicate period we are experiencing due to the Covid-19 emergency. In any case – explains Napoli – it will always be high-quality installations, which has led us to make our event known beyond national borders. Some roads will be symbolically illuminated so as not to lose memory of the event that has important repercussions on the economy of the city, as well as to spread Christmas spirit and suggestions and give hope for the future. Naturally, as in all circumstances, all safety protocols will be rigorously applied and gatherings will be prevented”. Compared to previous editions, Mayor Napoli announced, “about a quarter of the resources planned in previous years will be invested in the Luci d'Artista, and most of these will be allocated to the renovation of the existing lights, deteriorated by time, and to the purchase of new ones that will also be used in the future when all this is over”.
