The Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples arrested, in the municipality of Marano, in the locality of Torre Caracciolo, two smugglers, a 61-year-old and a 58-year-old, brothers, both from Naples, seizing over 246 kg. of contraband cigarettes.
In particular, the financial police of the Nola Group, during a road check, stopped a car driven by one of the two repeat offenders and carried out a quick check, discovering several cases of cigarettes, approximately 130 kg, cleverly hidden under a dark tarpaulin structure.
Subsequent searches, extended to the garage at their disposal, led to the seizure of another hundredweight of “blondes”.
