State Police Agents arrested a young man from Sarno for possession of altered and clandestine weapons.
The police officers, on duty at the Public Safety Police Stations of Nocera and Sarno, carried out a house search on GG, born in 1984, from Sarno, with a criminal record, suspected of illegally holding weapons in his home in the city centre of Sarno.
During the checks, in fact, two altered pistols were found, one of which was clandestine. The two weapons, originally blanks, had their barrels replaced with specially turned metal cylinders to allow them to be fired. From the investigations carried out by the Scientific Police, one of the pistols was found to be not only perfectly functional, but also to have increased offensive potential and to be unsafe in use. The second pistol, however, was found to have been altered in its parts.
The man was therefore arrested for possession of altered and clandestine weapons and placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
