Portici checks by the police: historic venue “Le Fonderie” closed.
Un blitz in grande stile nella serata di sabato presso il noto locale Le Fonderie sito nel centralissimo Corso Garibaldi a Portici.Un dispiegamento notevole di forze dell’ordine, tre volanti dei Vigili Urbani e altrettante pattuglie dei Carabinieri con in testa il sindaco Vincenzo Cuomo e l’assessore alla sicurezza Maurizio Capozzo. A tratti si è pensato che fosse in corso la cattura di qualche pericoloso super-latitante. Nulla di ciò, era un semplice controllo “anti-assembramento” al termine del quale al locale è stato elevato un verbale di 280 euro se pagato entro 5 giorni nonché disposta la chiusura del locale per i successivi 5 giorni a decorrere dalla data di domani. È stato infatti concesso al locale proseguire nel lavoro nella serata di sabato al fine anche di smaltire i prodotti alimentari deperibili. Chiusura dunque per 5 giorni per aver “violato” le norme anti assembramento.
Disbelief among customers and bitterness among the managers of the place: "Our friends/customers know very well the sensitivity and respect that we have towards all the regulations that govern our business, and this is why we do not believe the closure measure is correct", commented Manuel De Felice, manager of the Fonderie.
The police then, after the check, began to guard Piazza Poli, a place of nightlife and aggregation. Four patrol cars of the Municipal Police, plus three patrol cars of the Carabinieri, the councilor for security Capozzo and the presence of the Guardia di Finanza controlled the square: "we have just closed a place for gatherings and we will be here on the street to control until 2 in the morning" said councilor Maurizio Capozzo present in Piazza Poli while the carabinieri invited the very young boys, present in the square, to keep their distance.
